What AI may assist with

• Structure retrieved source material
• Extract evidence candidates from retrieved content
• Classify claims (fact / inference / hypothesis / scenario)
• Assist analytical synthesis into an AnalysisPack
• Draft ResearchReport prose from the AnalysisPack

What AI cannot do independently

• Become a source of truth
• Fabricate evidence or citations
• Approve its own report for publication
• Override PublicationEligibility or editorial controls
• Create fictional human authors
• Generate investment recommendations in Phase 7

Honesty note

Some pipeline stages currently use deterministic adapters. Where a production LLM is not wired, we do not claim live model reasoning. Retrieved web content is treated as untrusted data (prompt-injection defense).
